Genetic Basis for Pediatric Bipolar

This research is fascinating. Researchers have found some evidence in animal studies that the genes that control circadian rhythms may be associated with bipolar disorder, particularly pediatric bipolar. I'm looking forward to reading more research in this area. The theory certainly maps to my experience of Carter's illness.

    I just wanted to let you know I read your essay in Brain,Child "Love with Teeth." It was incredibly similar to my experience with my firstborn. I thank you for your honesty and strength for describing reality for many mothers.
